My low when a voice is so high
This is where I hit my ultimate lowCause I can’t break away and move on.
I try time and time again and whilst my temporary rants and bitching suffices when I’m not low its now when I feel vulnerable.

When I miss you
Everything is almost on track except you, me and this
Years of being tough have made me weak
Emotionally, I hate it
This is what I call a CD moment
All the right words and meanings to drown out all I want to say

Alone and shivering on a bare branch in the rain. There's something so quintessential about our realization that there's just us, carrying our dreams around in our pockets like some fragile artifact we're trying to protect from the next seismic eruption, the next blast of arctic air. The wind, the bitter cold, the rain, the frozen ground, the bare branch devoid of sheltering foliage. It's times like these when we realize we are equipped with what it will take to survive the barren winter.
Birds seldom sing in the wind and snow, but when they do, it illuminates the bleak landscape like a fairy tale haze and magically transforms the frozen veldt into a Grimm forest with talking trees, friendly sprites and beneficent spirits. There's nothing like a hard freeze to concentrate the mind.
