I don't know about you guys but I am absolutely pumped for the soccer, I cant wait I've got the whole thing mapped out, no really I do, it's going to be awesome. For me I have two teams which I hope to see go through to the finals or at least play to the greatest ability, Australia and Italy, but I'm going to be realistic and say this before anyone says it before me, there are some magnificent teams out there who I know are going to do exceedingly well. But I want to see as much of this as I possibly can! Who is everyone else routing for?

If you don't mind me commenting... after my home country (US) I cheer for any team whose country I have friends from. So that includes Italy, England, and Sweden. As a former swimmer I've always been fond of your Australia so I hope to see them do well. I usually cheer against Mexico because we are such rivals, but actually I cheer for them too, when we aren't up against them.
I'm afraid that Brazil is the team to beat. (If you were just wanting friends to comment, feel free to delete this; no worries.)
I think I'm gonna watch for the first time this year. My new company is in the UK and its all over the internal company website.

I don't follow the sport at all, I usually don't know it's on til there's reports the next day of looting and pillaging cos some team lost...but I am most deffinately going for Australia :)
Meh, i am so over sport. They cancelled karaoke till the f*king world cup is over, how depressing is that. Ash you are so right, if it wasn't for everyone at work raving about it i'd have to wait for the riots to begin so that i'd know it was on.
